The origin of “Artisan” “Craftsman” “Books”

The reason we chose these three words best describes ourselves and our relationship with you.

The term “Artisan” is defined as: A person or company that makes a high-quality or distinctive product in small quantities, usually by hand or using traditional methods.  Mass produced items can never be Artisan. Additionally the term may refer to knowledge regarding the source of the product; for instance, when Cowgirl Creamery offers an Artisan Cheese it means they know exactly which dairy farm(s) provided the raw milk for that particular lot. Custom Panoramic Book

When you start “thinking outside the box” anything is possible!  So when we received a request from Lori Coleman (Lori and Erin Photography, Fairport, NY) to produce a custom panoramic book (8″ x 36″ open) in a size we don’t typically offer, we jumped at the opportunity.  Lori’s excellent design is showcased well in this one-of-a-kind pictorial art book of New Zealand. Rick Smolan, CEO of Against All Odds Productions, is a New York Times best-selling author with more than five million copies of his books in print. A former Time, Life, and National Geographic photographer, Smolan is best known as the co-creator of the Day in the Life book series.
